Toronto a Potential Trap?

Steve Zipay from Newsday had a chance to speak to Henrik Lundqvist after the Rangers practice today and asked him about their opponent tonight the Toronto Maple Leafs. Here’s an excerpt:
“They’re gonna come in desperate,” the Rangers No. 1 goaltender said a few minutes ago after a half-hour optional practice at Madison Square Garden. “They don’t have the same skill (as trhe Ducks), but they’ll be desperate, so sometimes that’s tougher to defend. We have to be ready.”
My Thoughts:
- I could not agree more with the King Henrik. The Rangers have to be weary of this Toronto team who, besides having a 3 game winning streak against the Rangers, are much more physical from last year’s team and eager to shake off their early season woes. Vesa Toskala, Toronto’s starting goalie, has a 5-0-2 record with a 1.37GAA in his last 7 against Broadway. Don’t be surprised at a loss tonight.
